| Sinopsis Synopsis |
| Nerea
es una niña que dice muchas mentiras. Nadie la cree, ni siquiera su
padre, que, cansado de que su hija sea una mentirosa, acaba
amenazándola con castigarla encerrada en su habitación. Nerea,
enfadada, sale de casa para estar sola. Coge su pelota y empieza a
jugar con ella, hasta que ésta acaba colándose en el jardín de la casa
de los vecinos. Entrar en una propiedad ajena para intentar recuperar
su pelota será el principio de toda una aventura en la vida de Nerea,
pero ésta vez una aventura verdadera.

is a seven-year-old girl who is always telling lies. Nobody believes
her, not even herfather, who is fed up with his daughter’s being a lier
and threatens to punish her by lockingher in the bedroom. Nerea, upset,
gets out of home to be alone. She takes her ball andstarts playing with
it until it flies into the neighbours’ garden. Getting into other
people’sproperty in order to recover her ball will be the beginning of
an important adventure inNerea’s life, but this time it is not in her
imagination...

| Abraham
Hernández Cubo nace en Madrid en 1979. En 1997 inicia sus estudios en
la Facultad de Filología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y en
1999 ingresa en la Escuela de Cine de Madrid (ECAM) donde se diploma en
la especialidad de Dirección en 2003. Ha realizado los cortometrajes en
vídeo: “La última vez” (Betacam SP, 2000) y “Helena y la lluvia”
(Betacam SP, 2001), seleccionado en la “XI Semana de Cine Experimental
de Madrid 2001” y premiado en el “Certamen de Cortos Caja Madrid 2002”
con el premio al “Mejor director menor de 23 años”. “Pomoc” es su
primer cortometraje en 35 mm.

Hernández Cubo was born in Madrid in 1979. In 1997 he began his studies
in Philology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and in 1999 he
entered the Film School of Madrid (ECAM), where he obtained his degree
in Film Direction in 2003. He has directed the following short films in
video: The last time (Betacam SP, 2000), Helene and the rain” (Betacam
SP, 2001), selected by the 11th Experimental Film Festival of Madrid
2001and awarded by the Caja Madrid Short-Film Festival 2002 with the
Best Director under 23 years old Award. Pomoc in his first short in 35
mm
